My research aims to identify how two important glial cell types, astrocytes and microglia, communicate and how this communication affects and/or is affected by Alzheimer’s disease. To do that, I employ single-cell transcriptomic datasets, iPSC-derived astrocyte, and microglia co-cultures as well as 3D cortical organoid models.
